The St. Vincent De Paul Society Thrift Store sells clothing, shoes, accessories, and household items for reasonable prices. Bag sales and discounts on individual items are offered occasionally.
Volunteers are always needed! Tasks involve sorting, pricing, and working the cash register. Nancy Taverna, Manager, can answer questions or give more information. Please call her at 765-282-2842.
The Thrift Store is located on the second floor of the former St. Lawrence School at 920 East Charles St. Store hours are 10am to 3pm Tuesday through Friday; 10am-3pm. (Note: closed on Saturdays from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.)

Some members facilitate payment of rent and utility bills that are called into our answering machine by families under financial stress. Others check the answering machine on a specific day and relay the messages to the correct person. The local conference meets for an hour nearly every Monday night at 7pm at St. Mary's Facilities Building., 2300 W. Jackson St. Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting and/or join the conference. (During June, July and August meetings are held on the second and fourth Mondays of the month only.)
