Our next Casual Day is this Friday. Each student is asked to bring in two or more cans of baked beans and/or tuna to support the Saint Lawrence Church Food Pantry.
Spring Picture Day is next Wednesday, April 5. All students will be photographed and all parents will receive a free proof of the photo. Later, parents who wish to purchase prints will have the option of doing so. This is a formal dress day, but children may wear other dress clothes if you prefer. Flyers will be sent home with children today or tomorrow.
The next PTO Meeting will be Wednesday, April 5, 6:00 pm at school.
Next Friday, April 7, is our next-to-the-last Movie Night of the school year. The proceeds will benefit Mr. Hart’s Technology classroom. A blue registration form will be sent home soon. Movie Night will be from 5 -7 pm.
You are invited to a special music event on Palm Sunday, April 9, at Saint Lawrence Church. Tatiana “Tajci” Cameron, an international award-winning singer/songwriter, will perform at 2:30 pm. The event is free, but a offering will be collected. Details @ stlawrencemuncie.com.
We are planning a field trip to the Indianapolis Children’s Museum on Thursday, April 13. Look for more details in the coming weeks. Due to our Indianapolis Trip, there will be no after-school tutoring on April 13.
Monday, April 24 will be our annual Health Meeting Boys in grades 4-5 and girls in grades 3-4-5 will participate. A permission slip with more details will be sent home next week on Tuesday. Please sign the form and return it to school as soon as possible.
YMCA KIDZ Marathon will be Saturday, May 20, 9:00-11:00 am at Ball State Recreation and Wellness Center. Parents should plan to attend with their children, please arrive by 8:40 am. More details will follow.
Our Baby Wipes Drive on Saint Patrick’s Day was a huge success. We donated over 75 packs of wipes and other baby products to local mothers in need. As always, thank you for your generosity!
Our school recently received an impressive shipment from the Marsh Fresh Ideas for Education program. We received new playground equipment, electric pencils sharpeners, games, toys, construction paper and office supplies. This was made possible by those of you who are signed up for the Marsh Fresh Ideas in Education program.
If you already participate, thank you for your help. If you have not signed up, do so by going to the Customer Service desk at any Marsh and register your card. Tell them you want your purchases to benefit Saint Lawrence School (code 29047). If you don’t have a card, they can set you up.
