We welcomed yet another new student last week. Samyah (Suh-my-uh) is in Mrs. Brinson’s class. We’re happy to have her with us!
Our Girls’ Basketball team ended their season with a tournament loss to Saint Mary on Tuesday, 20-12. The girls worked hard this season, they won three games and showed great improvement through the year.
Casual Dress Day is this Friday. Students are asked to bring one or more 12-packs of Ramen Noodles to help the Saint Lawrence Church Food Pantry.
Next Wednesday at Big Church, we will celebrate Ash Wednesday. We invite all families to join us as the season of Lent begins. This service takes longer, so we will be taking the 9:18 MITS bus to school, not the 8:48 bus.
Each family received 24 tickets for our upcoming Dan’s Fish Fry. Please try to sell all of your tickets. This is a crucial fundraiser for us, and advanced ticket sales help a lot! Tickets and money should be turned in by next Friday, March 3. If you lose your tickets or money, or do not turn in unsold tickets or money, the school will bill you for the value of the missing tickets. Thank you to those who have already sold tickets and turned in money!
If you can volunteer to help out before, during or after the Fish Fry, please contact Bryan Fortreide at [email protected] or 765-729-2396. We need people to bread the fish, wait tables, and clean up after the dinner.
The next PTO Meeting will be Wednesday, March 1, 6:00 pm at school.

The Muncie Knights of Columbus collects pop tabs and donates them to Riley Hospital for Children. If you have pop tabs, just bag them up and bring them to school, we’ll make sure that they are passed along.
