If you are interested in having your child(ren) participate in 4-H, you may want to attend an Open House at the Purdue Extension Office, 100 West Main Street (Room 202), tomorrow. The Open House will last from after school until 6:00 pm. If you cannot attend this Open House, there will be another one on January 9, 2018.

The next Parent-Teacher Organization (P.T.O.) meeting is today (not tomorrow). Meetings are held at school, from 6:30PM until 7:30PM. This Friday is a Casual Dress Day.
If your child is going to be absent, please call the office as early as possible in the morning. Also, if you need to pick up your child early, call the office in advance. This helps the teacher have homework ready and is far less disruptive to the class.
Happy All Saints Day! The children did a wonderful job at Mass this morning. Donuts for Dads is tomorrow. Join us in the cafeteria and have free breakfast with your child(ren). This event is open to any man who serves as a positive role model to our students. Men are encouraged to stay for morning gathering (8:05-8:15) to see how we begin each day with scripture and prayer.
Parent/Teacher Conferences are today and tomorrow. Quarter 1 grade reports will be handed out during conferences. To sign-up for a time, click on the large green “Parent | Teacher Conferences” button on our school website.
Saint Lawrence has once again earned an “A” rating from the Indiana Department of Education. We’ve now been an “A” school seven years in a row! I am especially proud of this because we minister to a student population with a wide range of abilities. This is a testament to our students, teachers, and parents.
Tonight at 7:00PM, Mr. Frey will host a Tax Credit Scholarship Information Session at Saint Agnes Hall (301 South Hackley). This will explain how donations can benefit our students, as well as result in a major tax credit for donors. Our trip to Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo is tomorrow.
